Local landscape company to host “weCare” event benefiting cancer survivor
MELBOURNE, Fla. (Jan. 14, 2016) – Local landscape management company, The Grounds Guys of Melbourne, will be hosting an event to do lawn care for local cancer survivor Terry Hansen. Scott Young, owner of The Grounds Guys of Melbourne, organized the “weCare” Day event to assist Hansen with yard care that he can no longer attend to himself.
Young is pairing up with Pete Bittner of Pete’s Pressure Cleaning who has volunteered to clean Hansen’s sidewalks and drive.
The Grounds Guys of Melbourne along with Pete’s Pressure cleaning are asking for neighborhood volunteers to assist with the clean up.
They will be cutting bushes, trimming trees and picking up debris to take to the local landfill. The work is expected to take a few hours.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear long sleeved shirts and bring gloves, rakes and trash cans.
The event will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 30 at 525 Ironwood Drive in Melbourne. In the case of rain, the event will be postponed to 10 a.m. the following Saturday, February 6.

Local Couple Fulfill Dream of Business Ownership
LUBBOCK, Texas (Jan. 25, 2016) – A former Aire Serv employee, James Russell, and his wife, Courtney, made their dream of becoming business owners a reality when they recently purchased Aire Serv of South Plains. The couple, who have been in the Lubbock area for three years, look forward to continuing to service Lubbock and the surrounding communities with the same great service they have come to expect from Aire Serv.
James began working at Aire Serv of South Plains in January 2013. Over the past few years he has progressed from an installer to service technician to now owner of the Lubbock HVAC company.
The couple knew they wanted to eventually own a business of their own. After working for years to save enough money, he and his wife have purchased the company from former owner, Ronnie Daniel.
“It means the world to my wife and I,” James said. “We have worked very hard planning the best course of action for our lives with the great blessings the Lord has bestowed upon us. To begin working at an already great local company and to then be able to own that company means so much to us.”
